Frequently Asked Questions

Are we locked into a contract for a certain time period?

No. Many service providers require contracts with exclusivity or fixed time commitments, but T&S does not. Some clients may request contracts based on their own vendor requirements, but we don't bring them to the table.

Do you have your own trucks, or are you strictly brokerage?

As an agency partner of HD Shipping Solutions, we work with a vast network of contracted carrier partners to offer full brokerage services: FTL, LTL, and cross-border shipping. We also have relationships with best-in-class import/export companies for turnkey global solutions.

Does it cost anything to consult with T&S or have you participate in an RFP?

No. Unlike consultants who bill by the hour, we look for opportunities to bring value immediately. It is critical for us to get to know your organization and for you to get to know us. We make a fair and reasonable margin on a per-shipment basis.

Are your shipments insured?

Yes. All shipments are insured, and additional coverage is available for higher-value loads. We ask for the cargo value and make sure adequate coverage is in place. If a claim needs to be filed, we facilitate the process on our client's behalf.

Do you offer credit lines? What are the terms?

Yes. Qualified clients receive the credit line they need to keep freight flowing smoothly. We offer NET 30 terms and customizable reporting based on each client's individual needs.

How quickly can we get a quote?

Most quotes come back within a few hours. For standard lanes, we can often provide pricing the same day. For complex or time-critical loads, Nate reviews it personally and gets back to you quickly.

What regions does T&S serve?

T&S primarily serves the Eastern United States, from the Mid-Atlantic through the Southeast and into the Midwest. Through our carrier network and HDships partnerships, we can handle shipments nationwide and cross-border into Canada.

The same technology, the same carrier network, and the same point of contact. No matter what you ship.
